الهرم المدرج لزوسر

زوسر صاحب الهرم المدرّج هو فرعون من الملكة القديمة،
زوسر : يعني المقدس باللغة المصرية القديمة،
قام بتغيير ديني في كامل البلاد. فرعون مسالم، يعتبر مؤسس الملكة القديمة، ليس فقط بانجزاته العضيمة بل بابدعاته التي شيدها مع المهندس المعماري العبقري أمحوتب الذي أله بعد وفاته ونظر له على أنه الاله تحوت أو الاله بتاح. كان له الفضل في تعميم استعمال الحجار في عملية البناء وتشييد اول هرم عرفه الانسان (الهرم المدرج بصقاره). كما نجح على أغلب الضن في سياساته الاقتصادية والثقافية بتفتحه على الشرق.

اتخذ زوسر من منف ،عين شمس ، عاصمة قام باستخراج النحاس و التركواز من سيناء مما أمن له ثروة ضخمة مكنته من القيام بأعمال إنشائية ضخمة. وسع دولته جنوبا بعد أن بسط نفوذه على النوبيين ذكر المؤرخ الفرعوني مانثو Manetho، أن زوسر حكم لمدة 29 سنة(2640ق.م - 2611ق.م)، بينما تذكر بردية توربن أن فترة حكمه إمتدت فقط 19 عام(2630ق.م - 2611ق.م)، إلا أن الكثير من المؤرخين الحالين يذكرون أن فترة حكمة إمتدت لمدة 29 عام بسبب ضخامة أعماله الإنشائية التي قام بها. و عليه فإن فارق السنوات بين الرقمين قد يعني أن زوسر هو نفسه الفرعون الأول في الأسرة الثالثة.
